Globe Expert is a solution to infobesity, revealing the reality and the different standpoints. For researchers, Globe Expert is an Artificial Intelligence system based on the quantum approach of the information.
A solution to infobesity
When an artificial intelligence does mind mapping, it stores thousands and thousands of documents. It keeps their very substance. The maps allow the users to grasp what is really at the heart of the issues, instead of being overwhelmed by an uninformative flood.
Revealing the Reality
When an artificial intelligence unravels the threads of entanglement, it discerns the patterns of complexity. From a ball of information, it makes a superposition of plain states and trends. Instead of a blurred image, the users have an accurate map of the reality.
Revealing the Standpoints
When an artificial intelligence considers the reality from different standpoints, it acts as an observer. It induces a collapse of the reality to consider the facts from a specific standpoint. Instead of hearing only one sound, the users get the different tunes.

With Globe Expert, the researchers think in multiple dimensions, operate in superposed worlds, simulate collapses, imagine, model and simulate behaviors, comprehend how complexity is structured and what it reveals.
GLOBE EXPERT’S PEOPLE
Thierry Lorho designed Globe Expert and manages its developments. Thierry is a graduate of Telecom SudParis and holds a MBA from Paris Dauphine University. He is currently co-authoring a book on the applications of information theory with Prof. Arieh Ben-Naim of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His works mainly focus on quantum probabilities.
International Focus, a firm focusing on international and strategic analysis regarding emerging countries and issues, supports and finances the design and the development of Globe Expert. http://www.inter-focus.com
Valerie Fert founded International Focus in 2003 and has been running the company since. She asked Thierry Lorho to imagine a tool for managing the overflows with information, the background noises, which would also be an objectifying interlocutor for the International Focus experts. She also founded the private research group GMAP, dedicated to the analysis and prospective on the major changes of the 21st Century, and chaired it. She is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure and Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, where she studied history and west Semitic epigraphy and philology. Before creating International Focus, she has held various management positions in a major French press group.
GMAP brings together scientific, economic, political, social science and humanities experts. They work in an interdisciplinary and transversal approach. They wanted Globe Expert to be also a tool for research, modeling and simulation. http://www.gmap-center.org
GLOBE EXPERT’S PARTNERS
Dynamics of Emotions and Fear in Conflicts and Reconstruction
Globe Expert is one of the three partners of this interdisciplinary program, with the Brain Mind Institute of the Lausanne Institute of Technology (EPFL) and the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Focused on the issues of conflicts and cooperation, this research cross the approaches of behavioral genetics, social sciences and artificial intelligence. It will result in tools for practitioners involved in any potential or actual conflict situation as well as reconstruction.
Seminars and Symposia
Globe Expert participates in academic seminars and symposia during which studies based on its forward-looking analyses are presented. For instance, the seminar “International Relations and Environment” (November and December 2010) held at the Catholic University of Lille, the symposium “100 Year Starship Studies”, jointly organized by NASA and DARPA (Orlando, September 2011).
